I was born in Manchester and raised practically on the beach in Knott-End-on Sea, on the North West coast of England. I have been a fishing fanatic since the tender age of 4. After nearly 20 years sailing(and fishing!) the world's oceans as a marine engineer, both with the Royal Navy and in private yachts, and with 40 years of obsessive angling experience under my belt, I came to Canada in 1998 with the sole intention of setting up my own fishing business. After discovering the phenomenal fishing to be found on both the Niagara River and Lake Ontario, my original plans to migrate to British Columbia fell by the wayside. I was seduced by the sheer power and natural beauty of the Niagara River and the phenomenal results to be had trolling Lake Ontario for Kings and Steelhead. I quickly realized that the area lacked any specific destination where anglers could book affordable trips on either or both of these two fisheries along with great accommodation. As a result, "Natural Wonders Angling Adventures" is the realization of my lifelong ambition.
My passion for fishing is perhaps matched only by my love of the water, the outdoors, and my dedication to ensuring that all our guests have a safe and truly memorable visit.
