Booking and Cancellation Policy

A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking.

Balance for vacations and packages are due upon arrival. Balance for day charters is payable on the day of the trip.

Cancellations must be received at least 30 days prior to your fishing trip (45 for vacations and multi-day trips) in order to be eligible for a full refund.

If cancellations occur later than the times stated above, we will issue a refund if we can re-book your trip/party with another customer (less any discount offered to the replacement customer). If a partial replacement is found, deposits will be refunded on a pro-rated basis based upon the monetary value of the trip or packages concerned. If no other booking is made, a credit will be issued for the trip or the deposit will be forfeited. Credits are valid for one year and are 100% redeemable against any trip available at the time of redemption less any price increase, which is payable at that time.

Cancellations received within 10 days of your fishing trip will receive NO REFUND of deposit paid.

No show policy
Each guided trip is designated a start time agreed with the customer prior to the trip. Fishing guides will wait for a reasonable amount of time (up to 1 hour) for groups to show for their guided trip. When a group shows up late, the trip will be deemed to have started at the appointed time, and only the balance of the trip remains. When a group does not show for their guided trip, payment of the full balance of the trip is due, no refunds or credit will be issued.

Return to port policy
If the customer requests that the boat return to port for any reason during the trip, this shall be deemed early termination on the part of the customer and full payment shall be due. Parties may opt to resume fishing for the balance of time allocated for their trip at an additional cost of $150.

In the event that a trip is included as part of any vacation or multi-day package and is subject to early termination on the part of the customer, then the balance of time allotted for that trip may be added to subsequent trips at no additional cost, at your guides’ discretion. No credit will be given for overall shortfalls if this time cannot be incorporated into subsequent trips for any reason.

Cancellations due to weather
Your guide may cancel any trip at any time due to inclement weather or for safety reasons. Full refunds or credit towards another booking will be made if the trip is cancelled prior to departure only.

Refunds for trips cancelled after departure will be as follows:
If dock-dock trip is less than 4 hours, 75% of the original cost of the trip will be payable. If dock-dock trip is greater than 4 hours, the full amount is due.

No drugs or alcohol on the boats
Trips will be terminated without refund of any kind if drugs or alcohol are brought onboard by any person, knowingly or otherwise. Also, in support of maritime superstition, no bananas are to be brought onto the boats.

Loss and care of personal possessions
Customers assume full personal and legal liability for all items in their possession at time of boarding and for the duration of their trip. This includes, but is not limited to drugs, alcohol, cameras, valuables, money, wallets, sunglasses, etc.

Loss and care of equipment supplied
Normal wear and tear of equipment supplied is reasonable and acceptable, as is loss of certain amounts of terminal tackle due to line failure, snags, and cunning fish! Natural Wonders Angling Adventures accepts liability for such losses, and no surcharge or penalties shall be due on the customers’ part.

Customers are responsible for the loss or damage incurred to any equipment in their care or under their control throughout the day. This includes fishing equipment, downriggers, or any auxiliary equipment used. Customers assume liability for loss or damage of such equipment through neglect or misuse whilst in their care or control.

Examples being:

Fishing rods/reel dropped overboard
Breakage of fishing rods due to improper use
Fishing rod/reels lost overboard due to improper stowage
Breakage of downrigger cables/loss of terminal equipment and/or electronics due to misuse (cranking against stops, dropping weights, etc)

Use or operation of any such equipment by the customer shall be deemed acceptance of the above terms and conditions pertaining to personal liability. In the event of loss or breakage where the customer is deemed liable, an additional charge equal to full replacement value of the lost/damaged equipment shall be payable in addition to the original and stated cost of the trip. The person originally booking the trip shall be deemed the responsible representative for their entire party and agrees to cover such losses.

We reserve the right to charge such losses against the credit card used for taking such parties’ deposit. Any changes to the above policies can only be made by management of Natural Wonders Angling Adventures.
